All ancient cultures had unique uses for their properties. Amulets and talismans were worn in Ancient Rome for protection and prosperity. The Egyptians priests had wands filled with salt and crystals used for recharging and balancing. Remember Liz Taylor’s Cleopatra with all that blue eye shadow?
